Mold Testing Fee Schedule Mold Inspection: We perform a visual inspection of the outside and inside of the building. We prepare a detailed report containing a summary of field activities, the results of the inspection and any pertinent findings. Our conclusions and recommendations will be prepared and submitted to the client. (No testing performed at this stage) - $350.00 Mold inspection with a home inspection. $200.00
Sampling ProceduresAfter completion of the survey, areas identifying “Red Flag” will determine the samples and areas that samples may be recommended. A minimum of two (2) air samples, and one (1) carpet sample will be taken when “red flags” are present. A. Air Sampling Air Samples should be taken if any “red flag” conditions are seen. When an indoor air sample is taken an outdoor air sample must be taken. This is necessary for the testing lab to complete their analysis. Procedures from qualified laboratory used by surveyor/sampler shall be followed taking appropriate precautions so as to not contaminate the sample. Chain-of-Custody document shall be complete, noting the sample number(s) you have assigned. Where no visible mold-like substance or specific suspect location is found, yet sampling is warranted by surveyor/sampler or requested by client, the indoor air sample shall be taken near the HVAC return duct. B. Swab sample Swab samples should be taken where visible mold-like substance or stains are present. Procedures from testing lab used by surveyor/sampler shall be followed taking appropriate precautions so not to contaminate the sample. Chain- of- Custody document shall be complete, noting the sample number(s) you have assigned. D. Other Types of Sampling All other types of sampling used shall be performed following procedures from qualified laboratory, and taking appropriate precautions so as to not contaminate the sample(s).
